Rules:
· Competition will be conducted in 3 rounds.
· Each Team can only have Two participate.
· 1st round will have 10 minutes.
· 1st round will have 10 beginner level MCQs.
· Participant must have to crack more than 5 MCQ of 1st round to qualify 2nd Round.
2nd round will have 20 minutes.
· 2nd round will have 30 MCQs for 6 modules (module like processor, RAM, Mother board, Graphic Card, SMPS, HDD/SSD).
· Each module contains 5 questions.
· Each module has 1500 points (total 9000 points).
· If the score is above 5200 points, the participant can purchase the computer parts based on their scores.
· If the score is below 5200 points, then participant will be given a chance to enter into the event “FIX MY PC”.
1. IN THE TEAM ONE MEMBER WILL BE BLIND FOLDER AND OTHER WILL ONLY GUIDE HIM/HER TO ASSEMBLE THE PC.
2. A SYSTEM WILL BE GIVEN TO EACH TEAM WITH BASIC CPU PARTS UNASSEMBLED.
3. THE TEAM MUST ASSEMBLE THE PC AND COMPLETE CERTAIN TASK WITHIN 20MINS TIME LIMIT.
4. ONE CO-ORDINATOR WILL BE STANDING WITH EACH SYSTEMT SCRUTINISE EACH TEAM ACTIVITIES.
5. POINTS WILL BE GIVEN ACCORDING TO THE TOTAL TIME OF ASSEMBLING & TASK COMPLITION.
· 3rd round will consist of Virtual PC Assembling. In this round participant is expected to build virtual computer system using points allocated in 2nd round. By purchasing spare parts from store ”GO CARTING”
· Best configured PC will be announced as WINNER. The amount remaining in hand after purchasing all necessary parts & time taken by the team to build machine would be used as tie-breaker in the same order.
Ø Decision taken by jury would be final.
Ø Organizers reserves right to change rules and/or disqualify any team at any time.
Ø Any kind of unfair means will result in Disqualification also no Explanation will be Entertained.
Ø The Act of Damaging any part will lead to Disqualification and Team will be Responsible for Damaged parts.
